Best Manufacturers of Sintered Porous Metal Filter

Sintered porous metal filters are created using the sintering technique. Designed with a combination of metal membrane materials, pressure strength, and pore structure last longer and filter consistently. Variants of such filters are designed for use in a variety of harsh operating environments, including high pressure, high temperature, and corrosive chemicals.

At GTS Filters And Systems, we design and manufacture high-performance sintered porous metal filters for all industries in specific materials. Our years of experience and expertise in the domain enable us to offer customized sintered solutions. As compared to typical woven metal mesh, our sintered filters have greater strength, extended life, and corrosion resistance. We are one of the leading Sintered porous metal filter suppliers in India that supply bespoke sizes, materials, and stacking combinations to fit our customers’ unique requirements.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Length, filtration rating, and fitment type come first. Gasket material preference matters too: silicon, EPDM, PTFE, or Viton, along with your process temperature. Do send these across, and a suitable filter can be built to match.
SS316L powder goes through a sintering process. What comes out is a rigid, porous structure, with consistent pore sizing right through it. This powdered construction, rather than woven wire, is really where the strength and filtration precision come from.
0.2, 0.45, 1, 5, and 10 microns, five options across a fairly fine range. Applications needing very fine particle removal usually sit at the lower end, 0.2 or 0.45 micron, while coarser jobs work fine at 5 or 10 micron.
DOE, SOE, Code 7, and threaded male or female, four options in total. Which one you need depends on the housing it’s going into, so do confirm your existing fitment before placing an order for a replacement.
Chemical compatibility, mainly. Silicon, EPDM, PTFE, and Viton each behave differently depending on what’s passing through, and choosing the wrong one can mean the seal fails well before the filter element itself shows any wear.
Up to 400°C, which covers a good range of demanding industrial conditions. It’s somewhat lower than what our sintered bronze filters handle, but SS316L brings its own advantages in corrosion resistance that bronze doesn’t quite match.
5″, 10″, 20″, 30″, 40″, the standard range, and customized beyond that as per your requirement. Do share your housing dimensions with us, and we’ll build a filter sized to fit rather than pushing you toward one of the fixed lengths.
Strength and service life, mostly. Woven mesh can shift or deform under sustained pressure, whereas the sintered structure holds its shape and pore size far more reliably over time, which is really why it’s chosen over mesh in harsher operating conditions.
Petrochemical and fine chemical sectors take up a large share of demand. Water treatment, pulp and paper, automotive, and food and beverage applications come to us regularly too, and so do metal processing, power plant, and pharmaceutical industries, wherever high-precision filtration under pressure is needed.
Reusable, and that’s actually one of its stronger points. The robust construction holds up well to repeated cleaning cycles, so you’re generally looking at a long service life rather than a one-time-use filter element.
