Line size, flow rate, and micron rating are the essential details. The material of construction and preferred top cover type, nut and bolt or quick opening, should also be specified. Custom dimensions may be shared directly for a made-to-order housing.
We offer four standard sizes, Ø4″ x 10″, Ø4″ x 20″, Ø7″ x 17″, and Ø7″ x 32″. If your requirement falls outside these, share your dimensions, and a custom housing can be built.
Lower flow requirements and one bag filter are housed in a single bag housing. Multi bag housing fits several bags together, suitable for higher flow rates. Duplex configurations, in single or multi bag form, allow switching between two housings without stopping the process.
Polypropylene, polyester and nylon are the materials we use. It’s usually the fluid you’re processing that determines which one is best, because each performs differently depending upon temperature and the chemicals involved.
Three types are offered here: PP collar, SS ring, and flanged. This is what determines how the bag actually sits and seals inside the housing. If you’re ordering replacements, confirm which configuration your existing housing uses first.
The housing operates up to 10 bar of pressure and between 15°C and 150°C. This range accommodates most industrial requirements. Actual site conditions should still be confirmed at the time of ordering to ensure the housing is built accordingly.
The flow rate goes up to 1000 m³ per hour and beyond. Filtration rating ranges from 0.5 microns to 600 microns. Between the two, both fine and coarse filtration needs are usually covered.
Watch the pressure drop; a rise there is usually the first sign the bag needs changing. Open the top cover, take out the used bag, and fit the new one as per its configuration, collar, ring, or flange. Nothing complicated once you know what to look for.
Jacketed bag filter housings are available for processes where the fluid temperature must be controlled. Process details and requirements may be shared at the time of enquiry, and the housing will be configured to match.
