    The air filter housing is located within the engine compartment, near the front of the fender. A standard air filter housing will have an air inlet on one side of the filter to bring in the fresh air and an outlet on the other side of the filter housing heading to the air intake hose connecting to the throttle frame on the engine.

    Some air filter housing may also be equipped with internal baffles to silence engine noise, temperature sensors for air intake, or sensors for mass air movement. The air filter housing is not a part that requires regular maintenance or replacement. However, since it is made of plastic, it can crack from pressure or extreme environmental conditions. Sometimes air filter housing can break when changing the filter. Air filter housing can be customized with the widest range of size, material, and design. We offer the widest variety of housing sizes and configuration choices to match the flow rate, pressure differential, and hold-up volume requirements exactly to the customer’s need.

    • MS – Moisture Separator: For the removal of 99% of bulk oil/water removal from the compressed air.
    • SB – Pre Filtration: Sintered bronze filter elements for removal of pipe scales, bulk liquid, solid p[articles, dust down 5 micron. This filter elements available in 5, 10, 25 and above microns.
    • PF – High Efficiency Fine Filter:For the removal of particles down to 1 micron including coalesced liquid water and oil, dust, providing a maximum remaining oil aerosol content of 0.5 mg/m³ at 21 °C.
    • UF – High Efficiency Oil Removal Filtration:For the removal of particles down to 0.01 micron including oil aerosols, dust, providing a maximum remaining oil aerosol content of 0.01 mg/m³ (0.01 ppm) at 21 °C efficiency – 99.99% (install in series with filter type PF). [Borosilicate glass microfibers – filter media which actively repel oil to reduce pressure drop and running cost to an absolute minimum.]
    • AC – Activated Carbon Filtration:For the removal of vapour and hydro carbon odours giving a maximum remaining oil content of  <0.003 mg/m³ (<0.003 ppm) (excluding methane) at 21 °C (install in series with filter type PF + UF).
