Premium Compressed Air Filter to Remove Contaminants from Air
Compressed Air Filters are used in compressed air lines to keep solid and liquid impurities from entering the system. Compressed air getting out of a Screw or Piston Compressor is high in water, oil, and other impurities. These pollutants must be removed using a Compressed Air Filter. GTS Filters and Systems is one of the leading compressed air filter manufacturers in India. We have precisely designed these filters with the highest quality materials. Our filters are compliant with all environmental conditions. The offered filter can remove contaminants such as dust, water, rust, condensation, moisture content, exhaust fumes, and oil impurities from the air.
Unfiltered compressed air enters the filtration systems under positive pressure and flows through specified filter media to remove dirt, dust, moisture, and oil contaminants. It is highly important to remove these particles. Otherwise, the system components, such as valves and cylinders, will not function well in the long run.

Choose the Best Compressed Air Filter from Leading Suppliers
Filtration is required because compressed air frequently contains dust, filth, corrosion, moisture, and other potentially dangerous substances. Poorly treated compressed air can taint control valves, causing seals to bulge and fail. We, the trusted compressed air filter suppliers in India have designed compressed air filters with specified compressed air parameters such as flow rate (quantity), line thickness, operating pressure, operating temperature, and filtration efficiency (purity).
Air enters these compressed air filters from one side and passes through the filter element, which collects any dust, water, or oil. The clean air then exits the filter housing on the other side. Our produced compressed air filters come with housings made of aluminum, CS, and stainless steel. We provide air filters made from a variety of filter materials. These are paper, synthetic, polyester, pp, coalescing, borosilicate glass fiber, activated carbon, HDPE, non-woven, stainless steel wire mesh, sintered bronze, sintered wire mesh, and sintered powder.

- MS – Moisture Separator:For the removal of 99% of bulk oil/water removal from the compressed air.
- SB – Pre Filtration: Sintered bronze filter elements for removal of pipe scales, bulk liquid, solid p[articles, dust down 5 microns. This filter elements available in 5, 10, 25 and above microns.
- PF – High Efficiency Fine Filter: For the removal of particles down to 1 micron including coalesced liquid water and oil, dust, providing a maximum remaining oil aerosol content of 0.5 mg/m³ at 21 °C.UF – High Efficiency Oil Removal Filtration for the removal of particles down to 0.01 micron including oil aerosols, dust, providing a maximum remaining oil aerosol content of 0.01 mg/m³ (0.01 ppm) at 21 °C efficiency – 99.99% (install in series with filter type PF). [Borosilicate glass microfibers – filter media which actively repel oil to reduce pressure drop and running cost to an absolute minimum.]
- AC – Activated Carbon Filtration:For the removal of vapor and hydro carbon odors giving a maximum remaining oil content of <0.003 mg/m³ (<0.003 ppm) (excluding methane) at 21 °C (install in series with filter type PF + UF).

Frequently Asked Questions
Line size, operating pressure, temperature—that’s the starting point. Flow rate and micron level matter too. And do tell us the material and end connection you need so the filter comes out built as per your requirements, not a standard one.
It ranges from a coarse 6000 microns down to a very fine 0.01 micron. Where your requirement falls depends on the contamination in your air; bulk impurities need less precision, while oil aerosols call for the finer end.
It works like a filtration ladder. MS removes bulk oil and water first, close to 99%. SB handles coarser scale and solids next. PF brings it down to 1 micron. UF goes further, to 0.01 micron, fitted after PF. AC finishes by removing vapour and odour.
Pressure goes up to 50 bar, and temperature ranges from 15°C to 500°C, which covers most industrial applications. Kindly do confirm your actual site conditions at the time of ordering so the filter is specced correctly as per your setup.
Housing options include aluminium, CS, or stainless steel. Filter media includes paper, synthetic, polyester, PP, coalescing media, borosilicate glass fibre, activated carbon, HDPE, non-woven, stainless steel wire mesh, sintered bronze, and sintered powder, chosen as per your contaminant type.
Not much; cleaning is meant to be simple by design. Inspect the filter element regularly, more often if the line carries a heavier dirt load. Also watch the pressure drop; a steady rise means it’s time to clean or replace the element.
To some extent, this is quite normal, since the element keeps trapping more dirt, oil, or moisture over time. But in case it’s rising faster than usual, kindly check whether the filtration rating matches the contamination level in your line.
Refineries, petrochemical plants, and power plants rely on these quite heavily, as do oil and gas operations. Steel, automobile, and textile industries make good use of them too, along with water filtration and cooling tower setups, wherever the compressed air feeds sensitive equipment.
Yes, custom builds are quite common, actually. Line size, connection type, material, and filtration rating, none of it is fixed as such. We design the filter as per your actual pressure, temperature, and contamination levels rather than a standard configuration.
Yes, for high purity requirements, this is the recommended approach. A PF stage is usually followed by UF for finer oil removal, and AC can be added after both if odour needs tackling. Each stage handles what the previous one leaves behind.
