Leading Bag Filter Manufacturers & Suppliers

Contaminants can cause major issues in industrial processes. That is why those industries use bag filters in their filtering systems. Bag filters, also known as baghouses, are essential components of industrial dust collector systems that remove particulate matter from air or gas streams. Its effective filtering process improves air quality, ensures regulatory compliance, and protects worker and environmental health and safety.

GTS Filters and Systems is India’s biggest independent manufacturer of nominal and absolute efficiency liquid bag filters, liquid cartridge filters, and custom and specialty filters. We create filter bags with plastic flanges and metal or plastic ring seals to fit the majority of industry containers and housings.

Our Bag filters are made from woven or nonwoven fabric. It is separated into several portions, and the fabric is formed properly to guarantee that there are no gaps in the overall system. The dirt or dust particles must be collected, thus a hopper is positioned at the end of the system to ensure that the pollutants are gathered carefully and completely.

During the procedure, dirt and dust particles develop a coating on the fabric. The layer continues to build until the process is operational. Once the bag filter’s holding capacity is optimal, the top bag filter providers remove the layers using mechanical shaking, pulse jets, or reverse pressure.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Line size and flow rate come first, followed by the filtration rating you need. Size and design preference matter too: single bag, multi bag, or duplex, along with the material of construction. Share these and a suitable configuration can be worked out.
A filter bag is placed in a housing, and liquid is forced through it under pressure. The contaminants are trapped inside the bag when the liquid passes through the fabric, and what comes out is the filtered, cleaner liquid. This is not the same as an air or gas dust collector, which is a different product line.
Most liquid filter bags are viewed as consumables and are replaced when dirty, not cleaned in place. If you observe that the pressure drop across the housing is increasing slowly, the bag is normally full, and it is time for a change.
Ø4” x 10”, Ø4” x 20”, Ø7” x 17” and Ø7” x 32” cover the standard range. Apart from these, custom sizes are built completely as per the customer requirement, so a non-standard fit is not a hurdle
One filter bag sits inside a single bag design, suited to smaller or lower flow jobs. Multi bag designs hold several bags together for higher throughput. In duplex versions, single or multi bag, switching between two units keeps the process running without an interruption.
Polypropylene, polyester, and nylon make up the media range on offer. Chemical resistance and temperature tolerance shift across these three, and it’s really the application, what’s being filtered and at what heat, that decides which one fits.
PP collar type, SS ring type, and flanged type are the three configurations available. Since this affects how the bag sits and seals within the housing, confirming the existing configuration matters most when a replacement bag is being ordered.
The housing itself is rated up to 10 bar of pressure and 110°C, in line with the same range quoted for our bag filter housings. Actual temperature exposure depends on the bag media, though, polypropylene suits the lower end of that range, while polyester and nylon hold up somewhat better under heat. Filtration rating runs from 0.5 micron to 600 micron.
Refineries, petrochemicals, and power plants make up a large share of the demand. Chemical, automobile, and steel industries use them too, along with water filtration, cooling tower, textile, and food and dairy processing, wherever a liquid stream needs contaminants pulled out before it moves further downstream. Most ideal for intakes from ponds, river or bore-well.
Temperature control is the reason to go with one. A jacketed design lets a heating or cooling medium circulate around the housing, which keeps the process fluid at a set temperature while it’s being filtered, useful for viscous liquids that would otherwise thicken or solidify at ambient temperature.
